EXPERIMENTAL: The Dublin Core records in this section are retrieved from the OCLC CORC database using the CORC "Pathfinder" feature.

Search for metadata within our local NWRC MARC-based library catalog. (Hint: You can pull up all the OCLC CORC records in our local system by typing "001=corc*" and in the keyword search field, then selecting "Use my search operators" for that field.

Dublin Core (DC) is a standard used within the library community to describe Internet resources. All of our records are created using the DC standard. The Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard is used by Federal government agencies; and more and more among state and local governments. Some of our metadata (geospatial) is written according to the FGDC standard.
